I find kitty toys in my shoes all of the time. I guess the smell so delish, that he has to keep his stash in there. It makes going to work a little painful. ;)
We have a cat who buries his face in my husband's armpit after he exercises, then rubs his face on the sweaty workout shirt when it's hanging out to dry.
My friend's kitty will roll all over my shoes whenever I come over and then proceed to lick the bottom of the soles as if it were a delicacy, if he can get away with it.
I try to stop him because I'm afraid I might have stepped in anti-freeze or motor oil or something. x_x
Haha, funny! I love your blog and cartoons :) If you want to, you can have a look at my new blog, Cat-o-rama --> www.catorama.blogspot.com. You seem to be quite the cat lover so I think you might like it :)
So true! My baby loves to wear my flip-flops. The eyes on the kitty are so adorable in the second panel, and the face-plant of ecstasy in the last panel is sooooo cute. Squeee worthy!
I'm glad to know from reading these comments that I am not the only one with a perverse little kitty who likes to sniff dirty clothes and shoes. My little darling who is also something of a thief, particularly likes to steal my thong underwear from out of the laundry basket and hide it in her bed/nest. She just loves the combination of smell and silkiness, the little weirdo!!!
Haha! We had a cat that was obsessed with rubbing on and licking the armpits of my husbands shirts after he wore them. A couple of our cats now like his stinky boot socks.
I came across your blog today when my wife told me about it. I really love your cartoons because they show why all cat-lovers remain cat-lovers despite of all the not-so-funny things the little furry ones sometimes like to do. We've got two cats, an 11 year old yellow short haired tomcat called Kurt and a 6 year old calico Maine Coon, Frieda. The latter was successfully "returned to the wild" and she's outdoors most of her days (and nights)and really loves it. If those two are in the house they create such a peaceful quiet atmosphere we humans can learn a lot from. So why cat vs human? Greetings from Germany Reinhold
My little baby Aiko does that all the time! He curls up with my shoes and reminds me he does love his mommy <3 my fat Romeo lol. He also used to creepishly sniff my sister's clothes....
Haha my cat LOVES the smell of my boyfriends clothes and socks after he plays soccer. It's super gross and fascinating to watch! I actually had to leave the kitty and the jersey lone to 'give them space'. :D
My cats can't decide if my shoes are some sort of prey mammal or a loaf shaped scratching post. In fact, leaving anything leather on the floor is asking to be liberally perfed by cat claws.
LOL
ReplyDeleteSo this is my cat right now
My oldest cat passed away back in March and this describes her exactly. The last good picture I got of her was her snuggled up next to some shoes xD
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is SO my Zanzibar.
ReplyDeleteNot my shoes, but my boyfriends stinky, works at a restaurant shoes for sure.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Ukyo loves to do that.
ReplyDeleteLOL this is so Ollie! He especially loves it when new people come over and leave their shoes at the door :o)

DeleteHahhaha the cat version of the dog-crotch move
ReplyDeleteThankfully my cat is more likely to do this to bags [usually backpacks] that other people have when they come over.
ReplyDeleteMy kitty loves my sweaty gym clothes. She'll roll around all over them. It's the most strange, wonderful, disgusting, nasty thing. I <3 her.
ReplyDeleteHoly man, this is my cat to a t.

ReplyDeleteExactly like my little Hera with my trainers :o
ReplyDeleteMy cat like to go straight to the source, the feet! She only likes really clean perfumy feet or really sweaty feet haha especially the sweaty ones xD

Congratulations on the beautiful designs.

My cats never do that. But that's so funny ;)
ReplyDeleteMittens always has her head buried in my shoes.
ReplyDeleteThat's what Rysiek does. Always :)
ReplyDeleteMy little baby Aiko does that all the time! He curls up with my shoes and reminds me he does love his mommy <3 my fat Romeo lol. He also used to creepishly sniff my sister's clothes....
ReplyDeletehaha, one of my cats has gotten her head stuck in my shoes on multiple occasions. she loves rubbing on them in a way that is almost disturbing.
ReplyDeleteHaha my cat LOVES the smell of my boyfriends clothes and socks after he plays soccer. It's super gross and fascinating to watch! I actually had to leave the kitty and the jersey lone to 'give them space'. :D
ReplyDeleteMy cat loves to steal the odor eaters from my boyfriends shoes and make off with them. She loves them! haha
ReplyDeleteMy cats can't decide if my shoes are some sort of prey mammal or a loaf shaped scratching post. In fact, leaving anything leather on the floor is asking to be liberally perfed by cat claws.
ReplyDeleteMy cat doesn't sniff my shoes but marks them with her cheek. Even so, she must be getting a lot of the scent of my smelly feet.
