I have friends. They just don't know I'm friends with them yet.

Bracing myself.

It was one of the photo outtakes for the bio part of my upcoming book. I have hundreds of photos from that set, and this is probably one of the, um, better ones.

Money (grey) and Shelley (orange creamsicle) are actually okay with one another. They're not affectionate with one another and they are dominant types. But they both adore Dumpling (the big baby on my side bar).

Why do they do this? Why?!

Things that make cats crazy-eyed:

Boxes and crinkly paper
Critters and birds
Laser lights
Catnip
Night time
Printers

Every cat I've adopted has been obsessed with the printer.

Having them in bed is a special thing!

During the day, the cats are generally tame. They just lounge in the sun beams or the book shelves or on my printer.

At night, they are in crazy mode, and they wrestle and roll around and play in their litter box and so on.

I love them.

On another note, take care Japan and everyone in the Pacific.

We bathe the pets prior to bringing them to the pet hotel or if we have someone babysit them while we leave. That way, they're nice and fresh and not too stinky. But that's not always the case.

Anyway, I'm back from our vacation. Next post is on Friday :)
