Lol, I have a new kitten as well, and this is exactly what's been happening! Love how well you capture what it is like to love cats and live with them!!
OMG my cat is waaay more evil than that! He is not tolerant of kitties not one bit :( I have a filling Oscar will win the affection of everyone, I know he has mine <3
Aww! Now I want a new furbaby! Our newest addition is over a year old now, and still not quite friends with our older one. He also makes strange sounds! That's how he got the nickname, "Murph" teehee :]
is "smoof!" the sound he makes when he misjudges the distance between the floor and the bed and hits the side and the air is knocked out of his wittle kitty lungs? Oh well, Doesn't matter, It's A-FRIGGIN'-DORABLE! *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
This is sooooooooooooo true. Lizzy is always intruding. We've lived together for 8 months by now, and she is still bugging me, because she always has to be there, when I am bondig with MY servants. Hisssssssss.
Ooops! I shouldn't read your comics in bed, I just woke my husband up laughing at this!! This is happening in our house right now with our newly adopted baby and our 2 seniors!!
My neighbor's adorable cat has recently started barging into my house when we open the door. This is basically what my big cat does to her every single time she's in the house. I feel so bad for her, but it's also strangely adorable to see Tally so worked up. :)
I only have two cats but only one can be on the bed at a time. My husband and I will be laying in bed and one cat will come up, then if the other one does then the first will get off. Its like they both dont want to be with us on the bed, just one at a time. very strange.
This is EXACTLY what's happening at my place—we brought home a new kitten about three weeks ago, and the 'aunties' are being fussy…! One has warmed up, sort of, but the one who (oddly enough) looks almost exactly like the baby can't calm down. So then they all leave 'presents' on the furniture…floor…carpet…boots…clothing. Great.
Jasmine, you reminded me of my missing baby http://youtu.be/ov0WnCQ3lBg sniffles... when they finally welcomed him, the catsitter lost hime =( thank you for sharing our cubbs with me
This is pretty much what happens in my office over the window sill. Old tag doesn't quite know what to do with the little charchar.. Very cute little kitten you've fit there.
What are the chances that I have a cat that looks JUST LIKE YOUR LITTLE ONE and I named him Oscar too? And everyone thought I was weird for picking that name! :0)
Our giant orange/wh boy eventually wins because he's the biggest and acts like he doesn't notice the angry fluffy ball growling at him. So eventually my prissy princess just gets mad and leaves because I tell her to stop enough times... or she pretends he isn't there by sticking her fluffy tail in his direction.
The other 3 have an easier rule... sight is ok but a distance of less than a foot is not! Unless of course they're already asleep and don't notice someone curl up next to them.
That's why you take the aggro kity and snorgle him under the covers so he can't see the other kitty.
Of course, in my house this usually results in the other kitty walking on top of the covered kitty, and the ensuing chaos results in both cats deciding to go elsewhere...
L<3ve Oscar already!
ReplyDeleteaweee, he says meep! <3
ReplyDeleteAt about 3am the other day, I was awakened by one caf beating another cat over who got to sleep next to Mom...and these aren't even our kittens :)

Wow!! Same thing happens in my bed! My alpha kitty won't let my new cat Buddy on the bed!
ReplyDeleteI am currently dealing with the same issues with my new kitty. The elder sister will have to get over it eventually....I hope....
ReplyDeleteI have the brother of Oscar or his twin.
ReplyDeleteSweet sweet cat! but also a tiger

ReplyDeleteThis is EXACTLY how it works between my two cats. Also, by an eerie coincidence, Oscar looks exactly like my "mean" kitty, Zoe!
ReplyDeleteHehe I like the big guy's attitude. He's territorial. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave I mentioned I neeeed an orange kitty? I have a MH torbie and a LH tabby.. I neeeeed an orange tabby baby too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks just like our kitty Bubbla! Bubbla also likes to be near people but loves my husband more than me though :D
ReplyDeleteSmoof =3
ReplyDeleteI love it Yasmine. --"This is not my (hairy) arm." bwahaha.
ReplyDelete*AWWWWWWW poor little kitten!* ;( Baby Su says she hopes that someone in the clowder will take this kitten as his/her own and love!
ReplyDeleteOscar is beautifully handsome, curled up there.
Samantha, please visit facebook's Orange-colored Cats in need of Rescue/Adoption page! Orange cats! Needing loving homes!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a Korn shirt! I am mildly ashamed to have recognized it!

ReplyDelete@havocal - victor is also more than mildly ashamed to have worn his korn shirt too :P

thank you for sharing our cubbs with me

ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how my cat responds to me climbing into bed... sometimes it's just easier to sleep on the floor.
ReplyDeleteI have a cat that doesn't meow, he squeaks and coos. He's a year or so old, but still the baby of the group.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the chances that I have a cat that looks JUST LIKE YOUR LITTLE ONE and I named him Oscar too? And everyone thought I was weird for picking that name! :0)
ReplyDeleteYou have really cute cats. I wanted a kitten since I have two dogs, they only play which is a little bit fun.
ReplyDeleteThis happens in a cycle in our house nightly.

He looks just like my kitty Oskar, although slightly smaller, my baby is 13. :)

Ohhh, my Jak is a copy of your Oscar!!!
