*le sigh* It's because of exactly this that all items with any tissue paper "mysteriously" end up with holes in the paper and I have to apologize for it... :(
Ditto! I try to keep them at the top of a book shelf. I have to do the same thing with chocolate (especially Butterfingers) and yogurt covered pretzels.
Haha I just finished wrapping my last gift this evening! And I had the exact same problem lol. Yay your commission shop is back open, I LOVE my portrait!!! :)
that also happen to me..when my boyfriend visit my house while the cat is outside waiting for the door to open, then when he opened the door the cat was running inside like crazy.. xD ..well then, he just say "sorry"..
I am in the midst of trying to make fleece blankets. The one kitty runs to the fleece and lays on it as fast as he can. When I try to shoo him he just looks up at me and hunkers down. The other kitty is even worse. He does a "trick" where we put a piece of paper out anywhere and within 10 minutes he is laying on it.
Really Awsome blog.your blog is very useful to us.Thanks for this.. Hope to see more like this in future. I was searching some info on management institute
"They make wrapping presents a bit more exciting, I suppose." But don't they spoil the surprise, I guess? A man entered the room, may be the present is for him or...
I am always embarrassed when I give a present to someone and we both notice all the cat hair caught in the tape. I have yet to find a way to stop this since my biggest cat can open every door in the house. Wouldn't trade them for anything, even though they can be a pain.
Wishing you and your loved ones all the very best for the Winter/Holiday season and for the 2013 year, Yasmine. Thank you for making all of us so happy all year long! *Hug those kitties* ;)
I think my dogs may secretly be cats. A lot of your comics seem more like them than my cat. When wrapping presents, she gives me that annoyed "can you go somewhere else" look
Wrapping the gifts this year ended up to be quite an adventure for me. I have a kitten in my home, Bosco. And he went completely bananas. I still have a few scracth marks left from Xmas. I forgot how playful kittens are.
I've managed to teach one of my cats to walk around paper-based projects on floors. One of them.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that you've managed to train even one of them! :D
DeleteHe probably just doesn't like the way it feels... but I'll believe I trained him. :D

DeleteMy cat loves to "help" wrap presents... and I live in a bachelor apartment so it is pretty hard to lock him out of the room!
ReplyDeleteHere's a photo of him helping a few days ago (the paper ended up with holes in it)

helpful kittens are helpful! EVERY YEAR. Was battling this just last night ; )
ReplyDeleteI haven't wrapped my gifts yet. The old cat is no problem but the 1 year old... Could be interesting
ReplyDeleteWell drawn and well put. SO true. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy cats like to "help" too.
ReplyDeleteMy cat always eat the ribbon. And throw it all up a couple of hours later. That's just not very cute...
ReplyDeleteBoxes! Crinkly paper! Bows and Ribbons! Its like Cat Nirvana.
ReplyDeleteThey're really like that, aren't they? Who knew that wrapping paper obsession could be genetically transferred?
