Oh, and part 2 of the book tour is going to be at Book Passage at the Ferry Building in San Francisco!



I'm going to do a mini talk, answer whatever questions you may have, and sign books. I have posters to give out as well. Feel free to invite yourself over below.



The East Bay book tour was fun. I met so many of you guys, all with kitty stories to tell and photos to share. I LOVED that! I have some photos in my FB page.

And lastly, THANKS to everyone who has bought the book and has been so supportive. Really.

    Haha that's exactly what happens with my cat and boyfriend. He's always sad our cat is more affectionate with me.

    Awww, I used to do that with my kitty. It was how she greeted me every day when I'd come home from school. I've read that headbutting is a big sign of love and trust from a cat

    Gah! we always do this with my cat, Oona. it's strictly our thing, Oona doesn't do it with anyone else. ^_^ Although, usually when she gives me headbutts I kiss her forehead instead of headbutting back. lol, "headbutt" what a word. XD

    Oh, Headbutting! I do it all the time with my oldest cat, Tinker. He sits on the aquarium and we headbutt. It IS a secret handshake. =D

    I've had kitties headbutt or hug me, but it's usually just 'cause they want attention. I seem to make friends with cats that hate people, so they show their love by just sitting on my lap xD

    My cat has to either headbutt or nose-tap me as a greeting if I have been away from the apartment for a bit. It is a happy cat greeting!

    Only my alpha male does this with me (I have always said "bonks" when he did it, and now he'll do it almost on command). My other two brother and sister kitties don't do it to me, but will do it frequently to Sylo, my alpha.

    I like to think they see him as the Love Courier. Kinda like a vicarious "bonk", I guess...or something...

    I head butt my one of my cats all of the time! Unfortunately sometimes he does it SO hard it stuns me for a bit.

    Hey Yasmine, really love your blog. My kitty has an autoimmune disease which makes her feet sore. We give her pills to treat it, which work, but getting pills into a cat...

    I'd love to see one with trying to get pills into a kitty. :-)

    cats have a gland in their heads ( just around the ears )
    and will rub their unique scent onto objects that please them, ie favorite sleeping spot, toy mouse etc.

    you just happen to be something they want to claim ownership too so they rub their sent all over you...lucky you.

    Your cat does this too?? When I "headbutt" My cat Evie my loved ones members think i've gone crazy! So grateful to see other kitties do this and other entrepreneurs too.
