  2. So many nights I've laid awake trying to ignore my full bladder, all because I didn't want to disturb the kitties. *^_^*

  4. Sometimes I won't even move a muscle because I don't want to wake them up or make them uncomfortable -- less than get up to go to the bathroom. Instead, I will lie in a very stressful position from which there will be no relief. Their happiness and sweet sleeping is much more important than my discomfort!!

  5. It is really true!

  6. so true......

i have learned how to carefully lift and move my cat using the covers. it wakes her up but often she'll stay where she is and go back to sleep. :)

  7. So funny and yet so true! I'll often not move from the couch because I have a cat lying on me, and they just look so comfy. In bed my girls sleep on the pillow beside me, but sometimes Finn will have her paw on my arm, and even turning a page in my book will disturb her - so I won't!

  9. Not only is it too true, it is currently true, being slept on by several cats as I type

  10. I HATE when I have to get up to pee or something. I know they'll all get up and go elsewhere and not come back and lie on me. :(

  11. So very true. Though, I've gotten really good at crawling out of bed without moving the comforter/cats..

  12. That's so funny; I thought I was the only one who put off peeing just because I had one or more cats snuggled up around me. Looking irresistibly cute no matter what you're doing is a kind of superpower, when you think about it. :D

  13. they're just to precious when they sleep! lol.

  14. I do that when I have a cat on my lap. I sit in the most uncomfortable position and suffer so that the cat will stay in my lap.

  15. Hahaha, this happens all too frequently at my house. I will sit on the couch long after I really want to get up, because there is a cat on my lap that I don't want to disturb.

  16. My cats don't care. They will just lie there when I get up OR they take my place OR just spread out a little bit more and there is no place for me when I come back to bed.

  18. This normally happens to me right after everyone has just gotten comfortable or fallen asleep. Some times I can ignore it and sometimes I have to carefully extract myself from the bed/sleeping kitties.

  19. Haha! I think the same thing when my kitty decides to sleep next to me. I rather do everything later than lose that special moment! <3

BTW: love the crazy eyes in the 3rd panel~

  22. I also hate waking them up.. It feels like I'm disrupting something, even though my cat sleeps upwards of 20 hours in the day.

  23. Yep - my cat must not be disturbed once asleep in my bed (always at the edge to prevent an exit on my part) I am always worried that if I move him I might not get back the snuggles he has graced me with, silly human....

  26. I somehow lucked out with my cat. If I roll over or move in any way, she just goes with it. Occasionally, if I move too much or if the "comfy spot" (the spot between my knees) moves, she'll get up and reposition herself.

However, if she decides that I'm sleeping in too late, she'll take any movement on my part as an invitation to attack. Usually my feet.

  28. One of my kitties in in the cat hospital at the moment, I can't wait to get her home and have her snuggling in bed again!

  29. My two cats love to sleep on my chest/boob area.
    My girl kitty especially.
They always seem to know when I have to go somewhere, cause they will come over 5 to 10 minutes before and cuddle. They know I won't want to get up.

    Their cuddles make everything okay.

  30. My beloved kitties just love when one of us wakes up. It means cuddle time! Or more space in bed (my boyfriend often returns from toilet and has to beg for a place to sleep). Or play time - they love this last option the best. Some wrestling at 4am or just running like mad thing. Or jumping. Or hunting our feet. Endless possibilities.

  31. My beast steals the pillow if I dare leave the bed, then mrrps in protest when I try to crawl back in! So of course, I end up sleeping in a ball on the opposite end of the bed. Who needs a pillow anyway!

  34. I've been laughing so hard while I read all the comments, we all have this non going to the bathroom to not wake the kitties and 4 am wrestling and feet biting experiences!!! But it's all worth it when they are cuddling with you.

  35. our one kitty is hard to love, as she is a true kitty and only wants love when she wants it, not when we want to give it. of course she got up on the bed and started kneading it yesterday, and then i got in bed to pet her, and then i fell asleep to her purring and then when i woke up she was still there. i had a ton of chores i had slacked on and i didn't want to get up and make her scamper away so i laid there thinking about this comic wondering how long i could last. then the puppy-kitty jumped up on the bed and the other one scampered, so i didn't have to contemplate it that long
