During the day, the cats are generally tame. They just lounge in the sun beams or the book shelves or on my printer.
At night, they are in crazy mode, and they wrestle and roll around and play in their litter box and so on.
I love them.
On another note, take care Japan and everyone in the Pacific.
xoxo

hee hee, this is so true, they seem to come awake at night to get your attention when you are trying to sleep xx
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I also have three cats. They start our day at 5 am.
ReplyDeletenever fails! they are nocturnal after all.
ReplyDeleteThis is so very annoyingly true!!
ReplyDeleteHe he! I love it! The face in the 1st pane is definitely what I do when I want to play. As soon as the lights go out I normally have a furry monster lunging at me or eating my toes! :)
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA that is so true my cat woke me up at dawn yesterday
ReplyDeletei love your comic so good!
Love the 3rd pane! Three little heads planning an attack. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is about me and my cats :-)
ReplyDelete...and me and mine, too! Especially the litterbox part. I hear so much kicking in the sand every night!
ReplyDelete*PRAYERS* for Japan <3
jajaja that`s a day of my life!!
ReplyDeleteLOL. #notforeveraloneafterall
ReplyDeleteOne of my cats gets into the litterbox at 1AM every day. After he's done he scratches the side of the box for anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes. I have to try & be fast asleep by then or he wakes me up.
ReplyDeleteAbout the only good thing about my kitty being 18 years old -- she sleeps almost all the time, including at night! Well, except for at about 3 a.m. when I hear her in the living room playing with her meeces...
ReplyDeleteso true!
ReplyDeleteExactly how it is at my house!
ReplyDeletethis is crazy true !LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOL same situation here!
ReplyDeleteI love their lil ear peeking out from behind you in the third panel.
ReplyDeleteMy cat Koko is the same way, except for the periodic times during the day when he'll demand attention as well. And he typically starts his midnight crazies at around 6pm. I loves him.
My cats are the same way! They don't play in their litter box, though.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine just shared your blog with me, and I was wondering if you have ever seen the short animation, "She and her Cat". It is a beautiful short tale and it makes me cry every time (so I only watch it once every few years to keep the powerful effect of it strong).
ReplyDeleteI looked it up on YouTube and you can watch the whole animation here:

I hope you like it! <3
I love your blog! I totally feel you, I think all cats silly. Here's some stories about mine if your kitties ever need some inspiration :-) http://thehorriblecat.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteYou're comic was posted on reddit today! http://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/g3zut/everysinglefuckingnight/
ReplyDeleteThe comments were all positive. The original poster didn't credit you, but a few of us linked to your comic in the comments.
You made it to the Cheezburger homepage!! http://icanhascheezburger.com/2011/03/15/funny-pictures-cat-comics-playtime/
ReplyDeleteToo true... Though when I take a midday nap they seem to go automatically to play mode no matter how sunny it is.
ReplyDeletePs, I bought a rainbow catnip toy and thought of your blog. My two kitters have taken to licking it. Do your cats play with toys in odd ways too?
No matter what, my cat ALWAYS wakes me up at 3am. And I love him deeply even then, when I'm pratically a zoombie.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
Kisses from Brazil!

Your comics make my day ! :3
ReplyDeleteAt around 2-4 am, just as you are dreaming about castles and price charmings, they will go pawing your face with their long nails (because you forgot to trim them) and whispering sweet meows on your ears...forcing you to sleepwalk to the kitchen to get food for them as you are their willing servant...that's great...
ReplyDeleteMy cats actually love to sleep at night with us! Thank god!
ReplyDeleteAt about 3 am the playing commences with loud banging sounds and noises from the blinds in the living room to the leather on the sofa. They also enjoy jumping from place to place, like from the tall printer on the dresser to my head. What a great blog!
