I'd like to go on record as saying that not only are they adorable, but this is probably the first time in the history of the world that a volcano could also be described as "ADORBS!"
Oh, hey, Anonymous, it's a well-known fact -- among cat lovers, anyway -- that the Miaowssic Period's apex purredator was the Cattus Trilobiteus. True fact. ;)
being a cat lady in those days was definitely Very Risky Business, lulz.
i know you might not participate in blog awards, but i've passed the Stylish Blogger Award on to you. :) feel free to ignore this if it isn't your thing, but if you like you can pick up your award at my blog.
How oddly time specific. I just started an Introduction to Anthropology and an Art History class today, both of which are starting with ... well... prehistoric stuff.

I saw a documentary on saber-toothed cats a few years ago, apparently it has evolved several times in the history of cats, most recently in the famous one from the tar pits.
One type was a housecat sized animal whose fangs were as large as a modern day lion.
We just need to get our breeders to stop wasting time on folded ears or curled ears or flat faces and start working on the fangs.
awww so cute!
