Perfect description of my own experiences with cats! I lose it inside!
aww GIGIL!! Love and glad that you still don't forget our Tagalog/Filipino language =)
is it the same as giggle in english?squee works, though.
"Gigil" sounds more like /gee-gil/ in Filipino but you can also giggle when you feel "gigil" upon seeing an adorable cat.
Nice to see you back again.
You're filipino! :) Ang galing naman. Such a fan.
wow! you're a Filipina! I'm a fan i never expected, ang galing! :D
I think squee is a poor translation for 'gigil' but can totally relate :D
A rough translation of gigil could be 'super-extreme-cute-aggression' x]
Super-extreme-cute-aggression is the perfect description for what I feel when I see a kitty!
So true... :D

Ang galing naman!
Hahaha, that is so accurate.
Yep...squee is pretty accurate. ;)
Lol gigil means shiver in Malay! I suppose I do shiver in excitement when I see a kitty!
Squee is right! Kitties seem to have that affect on me too :)

Exactly how we feel and act when we see any cat. Who doesn't melt when they see a kitty?
Longtime follower here; nice to know you're also one of my people! Galing mo talaga!
You're Filipino! AWESOME! :)
Looking at the definitions on the link you provided, I would translate 'Squee' to Nanggigigil, but that's just my opinion, and I'm not fluent in Tagalog, so I could be in error, just like you.
Hello Yasmine! I'm a longtime reader and delighted to know we're kababayans! Finally, someone putting down on paper how I feel about cats--glad I'm not the only one who's suffering from "gigil"!
