Humanoid children will behave the same way. Be it my kids or my cats, I never thought that one day I'd view an uninterrupted trip to the bathroom a luxury.
I'm glad my cat does this. I need these little reminders to take a break, get away from the computer and stretch. He prefers several short 5 min play-breaks throughout the day, instead one long session before bed. Its good for us both.
I usually try to continue working when this happens (after my small break to pet him of course), but then my foot falls asleep because I tend to sit cross-legged at my computer :p
Aw! I can totally relate. My kitty also sits on my lap for cuddle time. And when I try to work with him, he puts his cute little furry head on my arm to sleep, so I don't want to bother him, and then I don't work :P
My little one in not a very cuddly cat, so I treasure every moment she wants to pet. Even if it happens while I'm...on the toilet (no comments, still don't know why she does that :P)
My boy Scooter is the ultimate lap cat. This means he has a permanent vendetta/territorial dispute with the lap top. Even if it's sitting on the desk in front of me, he must Occupy Laptop Land! I even have a photo of him somewhere, curled on my lap while I'm trying to use the laptop, and his paw is extended over the keys, with claws intended. His expression reads... MINE.
Hi, Yas =)
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww, my babies do the same, specially those moments when I'm preparing exams for school :3 Can't say no to them <3
It's hard to get anything done! And if I close the door, they'll dig into the carpet. Ack!
DeleteProCATstinate!
