A Kitty Kreation Myth! I was going to mention there was a creation myth where some god vomited up the world but couldn't remember who it was--I see someone mentioned it above! My favorite frame is all alone in a big, dark empty space.
Mine too (The cameo by the dinosaur was pretty awesome, too! Actually, ALL of it was pretty awesome!). I felt sorry for poor kitty, all alone in the dark :( but then it turned into Planet of the Cats and I was happy again :)
It's true, you know. THIS is how it all began! ***And Ceiling Cat said: Let there be light! And there was light. And Ceiling Cat saw it was good. And on the seventh day, Ceiling Cat rested. And ate.***
It is amazing how it grows from a "normal" comic until it becomes an epic story about a different universe. I couldn't help listening in my head the intro/outro of "2001: a space odyssey" when he was floating in space... Definitively my favorite one!
Too funny! I foster kittens for a local animal rescue (my excuse to get to play with Kittens!). Once kittens hit 4 months, they eat like crazy. Between 4 months and 1 year, kittens are in The Hoover and Oreck Phase of Kitten Development. I tell adopters that their kitten will eventually stop eating so much, and then they will be begging their finicky cat to eat! ;-) Thanks so much for such a clever and artistically drawn comic.
There is a book with the same story (i read it to the children). It is called "the boy who ate the world" if i remember correctly. I couldn't find it now :) anyway, i love your drawings!
wow...I really like the story of the cat how it become legend and a twist to the human..cool .. thanks a lot for showing it to me...keep it up....really much appreciated..
