  1. ROFLMAO!!! I love it!

My kitties don't run around frantically. They tend to flop down on the floor and roll around, stretching, and rolling in the catnip!

  5. ha, your couch looks just like my couch. It's all shredded, but I'm like- why get a new one? It's basically just a big cat toy. =/

  6. My fur babies rub their faces on it like something I've never seen. When another tries to interrupt his/her rubs, the interrupted kittie go Bruce Lee on the interrupter kittie!

  8. My cats act like that without catnip. A few times a day they go into "crazy" or "spaz" mode. Tearing through the house. Jumping around. Silly babies.

  10. I wouldn't be nonchalantly gaming if my cat was like that - I'd immediately drop everything I'm doing in order to annoy the absolute crap out of it with toys and laser lights

  14. Mine, alas, have no reaction at all to catnip. They do, however, act like this when I clean the bathroom with Comet or bleach. Weird.

  19. @mayachees - our 2 youngest are littermates and will do that same "no catnip required" craziness...We'll be sitting and just hanging out, and then 2 cats (just about to turn 1 year old) will tear through the house...and then, in a few seconds, tear back through the house in the opposite direction...then, we just crack up at the crazy monkeys :o)

  22. @Katie
Our kitties are a few months over a year. It always cracks me up when the race upstairs, then back down. Then into the kitchen and back to the living room. And their pupils get huge. It's like they have a few times during the day when they get a natural high. I like it because I know they are getting their exercise.

  23. Once I bought a pink cat nip mouse on wheels for my girl cat. My boy cat was there when I opened it. He looked at it, patted it with his paw, then scooped it up in his mouth and ran outside with it. I found him on a patch of grass holding the mouse in his paws rubbing it against his nose for all he was worth. My girl cat never saw that mouse again.

  24. Zoomies™

My cats all (except the long haired tortie) have severe cases of it. The long haired tortie gets them twice a year and spends the rest of the time sleeping and building energy for the next time.

  25. Time to tell the other woman to go home. She obvy isn't a cat person.

  26. My cats are the same as mayachees's cats.

Except one of my cats does love fresh catnip and will destroy the plant in like 20 minutes, smashing her face in it and smearing the dirt and leaves around, but then she goes back to normal after she made a big enough mess.

  29. My kittie, Buzz, (big purr box) isn't into 'nip' much. He will rub his face in it and snort it a little but it dosen't make him crazy and he looses interest in it quickly. He does just go on a tear through the house on occasion. He will run the length of the house. Stop under the dining table to pull his claws then tear across the room to run up hi tree and scratch to post. Then down to the top of the couch and across it to 'his' window to look out. Then he will run back to the dining table rug. Pull his claws, then punce on the rug just across form it. This is a large rag rug with no sticky liner so it will bunch u and he loves that. Then he attacks the rolls he has created. Then he usually runs off downstairs to sleep. Which he does for most of the day and night. He is 13 so it please me to see him still being so active.
