  3. LOL! The poopy face is hilarious!!!

I have a kitty with fluffy bloomers. Sometimes poo particles will stick to her bloomers. I had a doctor bill on the coffee table waiting to be mailed. She sat on the bill. A small spotting of smeared poo was left. I seriously cleaned the bill with enzyme cleaner...I guess she was speaking her opinion about doctor bills for her mama.

  7. Nooo keep away from the laundry! On a similar note, I found a music video with clips of a girl who looks pretty much just like the cartoon-Yasmine (same haircut) and a cat that looks suspiciously like the grey kitty (not creamscicle) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcnTOwZj7D0&feature=channel

  9. You live in our house, don't you? It's okay, you can admit it, I won't be mad. But, while you're here, could you put some Toaster Strudel in the toaster for me? I'll take the Strawberry & Cream Cheese flavor. Thanks!

  11. Lass, to people like us, there's no Happy Holidays, just another day of scooping poop. We might as well get used to it. Just cleaned the littler boxes, they still pee'd on the door mat. Raindrops keep falling on my heeeeeeeeeeeead....

  12. Aw, that's cute and gross, but mostly true! My cat did something like that on a folder full of resumes and job search stuff.

  17. The only problem I have with this blog is that there aren't new post every hour! I love the artwork and you really nail the subtle realities of cat ownership, and how we love them anyway.

I have SCOURED the internet for litter that doesn't track or the perfect mat to put outside of the litterbox to trap and keep all of the tiny particles cats love to hang on to as a keepsake of the experience. That market is, after all these years, untapped. My cat loves to sleep as close to my face as I will allow and one morning not too long ago I woke up with an itchy scalp and discovered a marble-sized clump of cat litter. I still get goosebumps when thinking about it.

Anyway, keep up the good work!!

  18. gosh thanks guys.

i wish i could update more often than twice a week. but you know, real life gets in the way :)

i've been trying to look for the perfect litter too. i found one, and it's in crystal form. there is barely any smell after usage. BUT it is very expensive--i think about 19 dollars per bag. it lasts a month though. i'll try to get the name next time i'm at my store. it's also not dusty, and the particles are easier to sweep.

oh, and i've also had 2 mechanical litter boxes. OMG. expensive AND incredibly annoying and messy. my cats even tried to make a game out of it, it drove me nuts because they'd poop on the OPPOSITE side of the rake. i'll make a comic of it soon :)

  19. My cat, boyfriend and I are HUGE fans of crystal litter. It's not the Fresh Steps brand of crystal, but this one that's made in France or something. The crystals are much larger. Anyway, it pretty much changed our lives. No dust, no perfume, no furry paws clumped with litter.

  20. I've had good luck with World's Best kitty litter. Doesn't track, clumps well, good at absorbing odors, and eco-friendly on top of it. Alas, it is also expensive. :/

  21. Try out pine-based litters. No dust or chemicals/perfumes for humans or cats to inhale, safe for the cats when they accidentally ingest litter from cleaning themselves, no need to mine the Earth for clay or other compounds, and easy to clean up. I think Feline Pine also produces a clumping version if the regular doesn't work out for you.

    Love this site :)
