That's one hot piece of kitty furniture! Your cats would LOVE a carousel! Who wouldn't?!
When I got my kitties I bought a tall blue "condo" for them that has two houses (the "penthouse" and the "basement suite"), a sisal area, and some jingly balls. My cats loved it, and still do. My wilder cat (Siamese mix) loves to run up to the top house, stand on the roof, and leap off. She also has almost destroyed the sisal area (better than my couch, right?). My other cat, the calmer one, loves the basement suite and can always be found there. Best purchase ever!
I want one too, but then I realize that my cats would prefer the box it came in. >_> Until they destroyed the box, of course. And my Alice does enjoy hidey-holes! :D
I thought all cat trees were crazy expensive UNTIL... until I found Armakat brand items on Amazon. They're pretty awesome configurations and not NEAR as expensive as those at the pet stores. They require assembly (think Ikea but very simple!). It only too us about 20-30 minutes and that's only because we couldn't keep the cats off it (I think they spray it with kitty crack before they ship it).
They only need periodic tightening and vaccuming. We have FIVE cats using ours for almost two years and never had to replace the scratching posts or fabric covers (not carpet!)
hehe! aw i want a huge one like that but my cat hardly plays with her smaller version, boo!
ReplyDeleteYou are seriously my idol.
ReplyDeleteI have a huge one like this, but my cats don't even bother with the top platforms. Thinking about downsizing because it is quite the atrocity. lol
ReplyDeleteOMC! That looks like the PAWsomest cat tree ever!
ReplyDeleteOh man...I remember that song..I have the long version on a cd somewhere.
ReplyDeleteMy cats love the tall condo tree. They're always sleeping, hanging out and scratching on it. It's the best piece of furniture I ever got for my place.
