There were a number of times when I'd place a snack on top of a tall shelf and wonder how my dog would get to it. By then the package would be ripped into pieces...
One day, upon arriving home, I see Puppy chewing on a package I thought I'd placed on the shelf. I exclaimed, "bad dog!" I picked up the wrapper, and upon close inspection, there were tiny nibbles on them--as in cat nibbles. My dog is 95 pounds with a large mouth and teeth. Tiny nibbles are not his thing.
We felt so bad, we gave him a treat :(
It's the real version of Tom and Jerry!
ReplyDeletei like tiny nibbles are not his thing.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of my friend's cat who used to lick the sour cream & onion flavoring off Pringles.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love how you draw the kitties in that same head-rub-im-so-innocent-and-cute-so-love-me pose each time. Its kind of like its own mini-meme. ^^
We had one cat who used to get our other cat in trouble constantly. Fred was an evil genius but Shoogi...she's just not so bright. So he would get stuff down, knock it around and leave her with it when we came home. We found out when we caught a glimpse of him through the window doing it.
ReplyDeleteBut then he got stuck halfway into a potato chip bag. I think she had her revenge. Why do cats love potato chips so much? Is it another of those "monkey see, monkey do" things?
A-ha-ha -- always blame the dog!!!
ReplyDeletethis post made me LOL xD
ReplyDeletethank you! >__<
keep up the great cartoons (comics?!) love them!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA. My cat and dog work together to get into the pet treat bin. They did do it successfully (twice).
ReplyDeleteHaha, my more mischievous cat does this all the time to the other one. I'll come into the kitchen and see a ripped-into bag of food on the floor and hear the sound of his retreating run as innocent-kitty sits and stares at me.
ReplyDeletepoor doggie hehe :)
ReplyDeleteawww, this one made me a little sad! poor puppy! :(
ReplyDeleteOur two cats hate all other pets. Once our male found a pill on the counter (left only for a moment by one of our petless, slow friends) and upon inspecting it, decided it was not good to eat. He looked around for the dog (belonging to our roommates) and chirped for Dog's attention until Dog came over to the counter. Our evil cat then pushed the pill gently off the counter and watched expectantly as Dog tried to eat it. We interveened at this point of course. But Jack seemed dissapointed that his plan to kill the dog with sleeping pills had been thwarted. This is a 100% true story. Amazing anyone who has never owned a cat but probably commonplace to the rest of us!

ReplyDeleteLOL! that made my tea come out of my nose.
cats. they make me shake my head and feel warm fuzzy at the same time.
My parents had a dog who was in total cahoots with the cat to get yummy things from the wonderful and mysterious counter in the kitchen. The cat would often help herself to donuts left cling-wrapped on the counter, and throw the remnants down for the dog. She did it repeatedly, and when we actually caught her in the act, we swore the two were working together. The dog would sit and patiently wait for the donuts to drop for him, and the cat was fine to let him have her leftovers, and also take the blame!
ReplyDeleteThis is my cat to a "T"...He gets into the doggie treats, takes what he wants, and drops treats to the dog. He opens cupboards to do this!
ReplyDeleteMy two do it to our two kittens we just found out. :( But then I saw them licking the kittens and forgave them. Kitties are irresistible ! =^_^=
